Lars Botten was born in Trondheim, Norway in 1964. Influenced by the light and space of a mid Norwegian mountain village where he grew up, he arrived in Paris in the early 90-ties. His work is mainly concentrated around taking pictures of people with an approach and interest in human psychology and in the way emotions transforms into pictures. He has worked for a wide range of magazines. He has exhibit at Fotogalleriet in Oslo, in Tokyo curated by Howard Greenberg Galleri New York and lately at Bomullsfrabikken in Arendal. Lives and works between Oslo and Paris.
